TorZon Market Q&A

Real answers to the stuff people actually ask us — no corporate script, just what we'd tell a friend who's new to the market. Skim the headings or read it all.

short version → copy the onion, enable PGP 2FA, use XMR. the rest is detail.

How Buying Actually Works

Every listing looks like the screenshot: vendor info on one side, product details and price on the other, with the payment method (almost always Escrow) clearly marked. Before you click Complete Order, check the vendor's rating, their last-seen time, and whether they ship to your region. Do your homework — a five-minute read of feedback saves a lot of grief.

You can buy directly or add items to a cart and pay for several at once. Pre-encrypt your address with the vendor's PGP key when you can; TorZon auto-encrypts too, but layering your own encryption is just good practice.

Common Questions

Is TorZon still up in 2026?

Yep, running non-stop since September 2022. It's outlasted a lot of competitors mostly because links get rotated aggressively and nothing unnecessary gets logged. The onion up top is the current primary — check the Links page if you ever doubt it.

What coins can I use?

BTC and XMR, nothing else. Bitcoin credits after 1 confirmation, Monero after 10. If privacy matters to you (it should), use Monero — it's the whole reason the coin exists.

Can I deposit twice to the same address?

No — the system spins up a fresh deposit address per transaction. If you accidentally send two payments to one address, open a support ticket and it'll get credited. Don't sweat it, just don't make a habit of it.

How does escrow and dispute handling work?

Funds sit in escrow until you finalize or a dispute is settled. Default auto-finalize is 14 days; Basic-Plus and Premium can extend up to three times (7 days each). Hit Dispute and the auto-timer stops — then buyer, vendor and admin all get a shared thread. Admin decides if you two can't agree.

Do I really need PGP?

For vendors it's mandatory, full stop. For buyers it's optional but strongly recommended, and PGP 2FA on your account is the best cheap insurance against takeovers. Set up a key before your first order — future-you will be glad.

What's the raffle thing?

Exactly what it sounds like — a raffle. The pot builds from items sold, ticket sales, and paid account upgrades. Tickets are $1.50 each and anyone can join. Basic-Plus members get one free ticket a day.

How much to sell, and can I get the bond back?

$500 USD bond (BTC or XMR) plus a flat 4% sales fee. The bond is non-refundable — that's stated up front and it's how scammers get filtered out. You also need FE permission on at least two other markets to apply.

What's banned?

Child sexual abuse material, prostitution, fentanyl and its derivatives, poison, weapons, and hitman services. Break these and you lose the bond and the account, no warning. It keeps the market alive, so it's enforced.

What if I get phished?

Honestly, that one's on you — we publish correct links here and inside the market. If you logged into a clone, assume that account is burned. Enable PGP 2FA on a fresh account and never reuse passwords across markets. Verify first, always.
